Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleon has been hospitalized again, sparking concern among his fans.
The singer’s management released a statement confirming that he is receiving top-notch medical care and that they remain optimistic about his recovery.
This news comes shortly after viral videos showed Chameleone being rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
His management reassured the public, thanking fans for their support and prayers, and requested privacy for Chameleon and his family during this challenging time.
But they did not state what the celebrated artist is suffering from.
Previous Instances where Jose Chameleon was Hospitalized
This is not the first time Chameleon has faced health issues.
In August 2021, he was hospitalized in Nsambya, Uganda, after a health scare linked to his liver and kidney. At that time, his doctors advised him to cut back on alcohol, which had been taking a toll on his health. Sadly, he later relapsed, which may have contributed to his current condition.
In July 2023, Jose Chameleon faced another health scare that saw him hospitalized in Minneapolis, USA.
The news of his illness was first shared by his father, who revealed that Chameleon had been dealing with stomach complications.
These issues worsened after he moved to the United States, leading to his hospitalization.
He later recovered and even went on to perform at Afrofest in Toronto, Canada, where he thanked friends, family, fans, and medics for their support in his recovery.
